PERMANENTLY MOUNTED BOLLARDS

All pipe bollards and most cast bollards can be cast in place in new concrete. Bollards have integral cylindrical imbed for casting into concrete footing.

Includes 9022 Victorian, 9023 Salem, 9023-2 Salem, 9024 Cypress. 9020 Metro

Pipe bollards can be specified any length to adjust above and below ground distances as desired.

 

 

Some cast bollards can be ordered to fit over steel pipe for additional impact resistance.

9023-8 SalemXL must be used over 8" pipe.
9024 Cypress and 9023-2 Salem can be used over 6" pipe
9021 Harbor can be mounted over 8" pipe.
Schedule 40,80, 0r120 pipe may be used.
Be sure to specify use over pipe when ordering.

Tip:
Keep in mind bollards can be heavy. We suggest using cast aluminum rather than cast iron for removable bollards. Aluminum bollards are typically one third the weight of cast iron.

Ironsmith's exclusive Pipe bollard receiver reduces or eliminates most of the problems usually associated with removable bollards

  • Available on 4" and 6" pipe bollards
  • with bollard removed the receiver is pedestrian friendly.
  • Slots are less than 1/2" wide and lock tab drops below grade to eliminate trip hazard.
  • No cap to misplace
  • design minimizes bollard wobble
  • design allows dirt, debris, and water to drop below bollard base helping to prevent mechanism freeze and jam.

SURFACE MOUNT BOLLARDS  

Pipe bollards can be provided with a bottom plate to allow bollard to be bolted to an the existing surface.

The Victorian cast bollard can be provided without the imbed and with the base drilled for mounting bolts.

The All of the Salem bollards can be provided without imbed to mount over a pipe bolted to the existing surface.
